Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about VALDLE, the daily Valorant guessing game.
What is VALDLE?
VALDLE is a free daily guessing game inspired by Wordle and LoLdle, set in the Valorant universe. Each day offers four puzzles: guess the agent of the day from attribute clues, from a blurred silhouette, from their signature ability icon revealed tile by tile, and guess the map of the day from a zoomed-in image.
Is the game free?
Yes, VALDLE is completely free. The site is funded by advertising, which covers hosting costs and helps keep building new modes and new games.
How often do the puzzles change?
A new puzzle for each mode is published every day at midnight (your device's local time). The answer is the same for every player on a given day.
How many game modes are there?
Four modes: Agent (attribute clues), Map (image that zooms out), Silhouette (blurred render) and Ability (icon revealed tile by tile). Each has its own daily puzzle.
What are the bonus modes?
Two modes on top of the day's four: Agent Challenge and Map Challenge. They take Agent and Map under harder rules, and each has its own daily puzzle, its own stats and its own share. A bonus win keeps your streak going, but only the four classic modes clear the day.
Which attributes does the Agent grid use?
Six: role, gender, nationality, ultimate cost, release year and archetype. Role, gender, nationality and archetype are categorical and shown in green, orange (close, e.g. same continent for nationality) or red. Ultimate cost and release year are numeric, with an arrow telling you whether the target is higher or lower.
What does orange mean in the Agent grid?
Orange marks a near miss: the value is not exactly right but it is related. For nationality it means the same continent; for the numeric attributes the colour is paired with an up or down arrow showing which way to go.
Is there a limit on guesses?
No, guesses are unlimited and there is no game over. The goal is to find the right answer in as few tries as possible, then share your result.
What is a streak and how do ranks work?
Win at least one mode in a day to keep your streak alive. As it grows you climb Valorant-themed ranks, from Iron to Radiant. The rank reflects your own consistency, not a leaderboard against others. A streak freeze, earned regularly, protects you from one missed day.
Can I replay past puzzles?
Yes. The archive lets you replay puzzles from previous days. Replaying a past day does not affect your daily stats or your streak. Each day's bonus puzzles are there too.
Can I install VALDLE as an app?
Yes. VALDLE is a Progressive Web App, so most browsers let you add it to your home screen and launch it like a native app, full screen and offline-friendly for the interface.
Do I need an account?
No account is required. Your progress and stats are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device.
How do you add new agents and maps?
New agents and maps are added as Riot releases them in Valorant. The pool also keeps maps that have rotated out of competitive, so the puzzles stay varied.
Which browsers are supported?
VALDLE works in any modern browser, including recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop and mobile. JavaScript must be enabled.
Is VALDLE affiliated with Riot Games?
No. VALDLE is a fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games. VALORANT and all related material are the property of Riot Games.
How is my data used?
VALDLE respects your privacy: no data is sold. Audience measurement is anonymous, and advertising consent is handled through Google's consent platform. Full details are on the Privacy page.
